The lake lost an average of 6 inches per week over the past 5 weeks - nearly an inch per day. Not good.

The lake lost nearly 6 inches in one week! The sands not treated with Bentonite must be leaking like a sieve. The water is 37.5 inches below the top of the bridge rail.

The main lake rose 6 vertical feet in one week from major rains! Let's hope it holds. The water is 28.5 inches below the top of the bridge rail.

I put the two measuring sticks back in the lake. The water level was down a lot - maybe because the 24 tons of Bentonite absorbed it.

We hired Harmon Mansell to come back to Brushyland to throw 24 tons of additional Sodium Bentonite clay into the water.

Even with recent light rain, the pond dropped 9 inches in 17 days. So it's losing at least three and a half inches per week due to seepage.

We had our leaky pond drained and then hopefully sealed with 72 tons of Sodium Bentonite clay.

But we must wait for rain to prove it is really sealed.
